Toyota, Vincennes to Detail Partnership

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana Inc. and Vincennes University will Wednesday unveil a partnership to support southwest Indiana’s workforce needs. Indiana Secretary for Career Connections and Talent Blair Milo will join Toyota Indiana President Millie Marshall and others at the event in Princeton.

WorkOne Southwest Executive Director Jim Heck, Vincennes University Director of Adult Basic Education Lauren Bell and student Latasha Barnett will also be on-hand for the Tuesday morning announcement.

Vincennes has recently announced multiple workforce development partnerships. Last month, the school announced a joint effort with General Motors Powertrain Bedford to train United Auto Workers apprentices in advanced manufacturing. The school in January announced a partnership with Illinois-based aviation services provider AAR Corp. (NYSE: AIR) on a maintenance education and training effort.
